day 2 -- in taipei
DAY 2:
Auntie brought us for breakfast in Taipei - walking distance, just around the neighborhood
This is something like gandum.. i like it!
siu loong pau
taiwan popiah that is wrapped with thin crust roti canai?
Then we went to north coast of taiwan, headed to yeh liu. We were lucky enough to have uncle to drive us all the way there. Took about an hour to arrive. Yeh liu is like a village by the sea and most people come here to visit Yeliu Geopark which has rock formations due to natural disasters and the climate. These rocks are given imaginative names based on their shapes which are pretty obvious, but some others were spotted but could hardly be recognised. =P
The most well-known is the "The Queen's Head" (女王頭)
